Yard Sale a Huge Success!

Our yard sale netted a whopping $3135.45 to keep our programs running!! Your donations and hard work made it happen. Our members pulled together to make this event successful and the final tally exceeded our wildest hopes.

We want to express our gratitude to everyone who worked so hard on this fundraiser to help NAMI Sacramento keep doing the good work we do. Over thirty families pitched in to donate an unbelievable volume of items, volunteers spent days pricing and organizing items before the sale, and a dedicated crew showed up at 5:30 a.m. on sale day to get the items out for display and run the sale. Our board members provided their labor over weeks of organizing and preparation, providing advertising, tables, lunches for volunteers, on sale day and more. A heartfelt thank you to the following NAMI Sacramento board and volunteers!

Who is NAMI Sacramento?

For anyone finding this page through our ads, NAMI Sacramento is a self-supporting 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the Sacramento Affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. It is a grassroots, self-help, volunteer support and advocacy organization of consumers, family members and friends of persons afflicted with serious brain disorders (mental illnesses), such as schizophrenia, major depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders.
