- 4/1/08: Restrictive Prescription Drug Policies Hurt Schizophrenics — HealthDay . Researchers find that 29 percent of patients are more likely to stop or disrupt medication when subject to the tightened "step" policy. In addition, the restrictive drug policy, originally designed to reduce costs, provided only minimal savings.

- 8/8/07:
Paxil® Pediatric Settlement — A class action lawsuit claims that GlaxoSmithKline ("GSK") promoted Paxil® and Paxil CRT for prescription to children and adolescents under eighteen, withheld and concealed information about the medication's safety and effectiveness.
Parents and guardians must submit claim forms by August 31, 2007 to be included in the settlement.
