California voters passed Proposition 63, the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), with 53.4% of the vote. The challenge now is to design and implement a community mental health system that meets the needs of children, adults, and older adults with serious mental illness.
Sacramento County Mental Health Services provides a myriad of services to over 1.3 million people. Organizationally, it is a division of the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services.
